Beta Release Anniversary

On March 15, 2019 Portraits of Change became a fiscally sponsored project. Almost exactly a year ago, we launched our online presence and have since made tremendous progress in Mixed Reality technology along with its artistic application within music. We have shared our progress with the community at live events and through online videos. I am proud to announce today- March 16th, 2020 that Portraits of Change has entered it's Beta! Using the Valve Index, ZED Mini stereoscopic depth camera, LEAP Motion IR sensor, streamlined MIDI interface and the Beta PoC Software has allowed us to create true augmented reality using pass-through VR. Even when we pick a new AR HMD platform for 1.0, we will still use this tracking system on stage to give us greater control of the mixed reality live performance. Expect public demonstrations once the Coronavirus isn't a public health crisis, but feel free to reach out to me if you would like to try out our Beta experience! It will be available for testing Q2 2020.
